Transformed By Christ Church (TBCC) is a Christ-Centered,
Bible-Based, non-denominational church in San Francisco
We desire to follow and to obey Jesus Christ both as individuals and as a community. We believe in applying the Bible to our lives, and in the transforming power that comes from living in obedience to it!
Our church is more than a Sunday to check in with God. It is a movement of diverse people who want to continually grow into mature followers of Christ. Come and be a part of what God is doing!
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Hugo Tejada
Pastor Hugo Tejada serves as the senior pastor of Transformed By Christ Church (TBCC). At the age of nineteen, he experienced the transforming power of God’s grace when the Lord pulled him out of the gangs of San Francisco. Since then every decision has been made out of a passion and desperation for the lost to know their Savior. Serving in ministry for over thirty six years and as a pastor for over twenty years, Hugo is known for his messages that are full of truth and that are easy to understand, yet expose the rich intricacies of the Scriptures. With a heart to see the city changed with the gospel of Jesus Christ, Hugo and his wife, Kim, stepped away from a large church to plant TBCC in 2012. Hugo and Kim have been married for thirty years and have two college-aged children: Moriah and Josiah.

6:00 PM: Overcomer’s Outreach
Join us for Overcomer’s Outreach, a Christ-centered 12-Step support group designed to assist individuals and families affected by addiction and other challenges. Together, we study God’s Word, encourage each other, and build accountability and fellowship in recovery. Embark on this transformative journey with us!

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Jesus
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, that while on earth He was fully God and fully man; His virgin birth; His miracles; His atoning death to pay for our sins; His resurrection thereby conquering death and destroying the works of the devil; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and one day His personal return to earth in power and glory!
The Trinity
We believe in the Triune God, Who exists in three distinct persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, Who gifts us to accomplish Christ’s purposes in the world and Who manifests His presence to the world through Christ’s church.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word, supernaturally inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. Therefore, it is the divinely authoritative standard for how we should live our lives and faith.
Salvation
We believe that Salvation from hell is only available through faith in Jesus Christ and that faith is always accompanied by repentance from our old life and is evidenced by a TRANSFORMED life for God!
